Nature & circumstances of offence Fail to comply with Section 21(1) of the Food Act 2003:
  1. Food Standards Code 3.2.2 Clause 6(1) - Fail to store food in such a way that it is protected from the likelihood of contamination. High risk foods such as raw meats were being stored above lower risk foods such as vegetables.
  2. Food Standards Code 3.2.2 Clause 15 - Fail to wash hands when likely to be a source of contamination of food.
  3. Food Standards Code 3.2.2 Clause 19(2) – Fail to maintain all fixtures, fittings and equipment to a standard of cleanliness. There was an accumulation of food waste, grease and other visible matter.
  4. Food Standards Code 3.2.2 Clause 19(1) – Fail to maintain food premises to a standard of cleanliness. There was an accumulation of food wastes, grease and other visible matter.
  5. Food Standards Code 3.2.2 Clause 24 - Fail to take all practicable measures to eradicate and prevent the harbourage of pests on the food premises.
