Summer eating
Summer means entertaining with friends and family; whether it’s a picnic with friends in the park, or celebrating special occasions like New Year and Australia Day.
Unfortunately family feasts, eating outdoors and the warmth of summer can also offer the ideal environment for bacteria to grow.
That’s because when large quantities of food are cooked, stored and left out in the open for long periods those nasty food bugs can spread and multiply.
So this summer when the temperature rises remember the golden rules and don’t let food poisoning ruin the celebration.
