Approval for the FSS program
Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) must be approved for the FSS program by the Authority to issue the FSS certificates which food safety supervisors require.
Units of competency attained before 31 August 2010 from RTOs not approved for the program may be recognised for FSS certificates from the Authority.

New applications
The RTO application process opened on 9 July 2010 and remains open.
RTOs seeking approval should read the RTO approval criteria (pdf, 110KB) and conditions of approval (pdf,108KB), then
- submit an application form (pdf, 191KB) to the Authority.
Renewal for approval as an RTO
The RTO's approval will remain in force for 12 months from the date of approval.
Prior to the expiry date of the RTO's approval, the Authority will send correspondence to the RTO notifying them of the RTO renewal process.
Change of details
Already approved RTOs can change their details and add new trainers:

Note: New trainer requests will be processed within a minimum of 4 weeks.
