Industry sector requirements
The Authority is responsible for ensuring that all food businesses are complying with the food safety standards contained in the Food Standards Code, the Food Act 2003 (NSW) and Food Regulation 2010 (NSW).
Some of the requirements are general and apply to all food businesses. Other requirements are specific to the particular industry or type of food business. Please refer to the information below if there are specific requirements for your particular type of food business.
