A Word™ version of the FSP is available for customising.
Contents:
- Food handling activities
- General food safety procedures
- Records
- Daily checklists

Background to food safety program
Standard 3.3.1 Food Safety Programs for Food Service to Vulnerable Persons was introduced in NSW in 2008 as the Vulnerable Persons Food Safety Scheme.
This scheme does not apply to childrens services in NSW so there is no legal requirement for these businesses to implement a food safety program or be licensed with the Authority at this time. However, childrens services that provide food must meet hygiene and food safety requirements. See legal requirements.
