Guideline for seafood retailers

This publication helps seafood retailers comply with the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code to provide safe and correctly labelled products to customers.

It is an important resource for owners, managers and staff in seafood retail outlets, and the council Environmental Health Officers (EHOs) who audit them, as it explains a wide range of food safety issues including notification, health and hygiene, safe storage, use of ice, labelling, cleaning and display, and more.

Your help with a short survey will assist the Food Authority to provide useful assistance materials. The survey is voluntary but your answers are important.
