Complaint referrals (incl FBI)

Complaints can be referred between the NSW Food Authority and local councils. Referral means the most appropriate organisation investigates potential food safety issues, regardless of which organisation first receives the report.

Protocols and guidelines for environmental health officers under the Food Regulation Partnership are being finalised in consultation with councils.
