Metal pieces found in pre-packed meat and frozen products
Queensland Police are investigating complaints of distinctive pieces of metal found in uncooked pre-packed meat and frozen products at Coles, Bi-Lo and Woolworths stores.
The products were sold at four supermarkets in Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia.
Queensland Health, as a precaution, is advising anyone who purchases meat and other frozen products to be alert for any metal objects and to be vigilant when preparing and consuming these products.
