Nature and circumstances of offence

The defendant as convicted on one (1) offence against Section 16(2) of the Food Act 2003 (NSW) – Sale of Unsafe Food. The food sold was unsafe in that it contained Salmonella Typhimurium and caused illness to guests when consumed.
