The case studies include a summary of the incident and investigation as well as the food safety implications and what businesses should do to ensure this type of incident does not occur in the future.
These project outcomes detail the results from targeted projects conducted by the Food Authority’s Compliance Investigations, Food Incident Response, or Food Science teams as the result of an identified issue. Issues may be identified as a result of a complaint, a significant outbreak or as part of regular monitoring.
The project outcomes outline a summary of the issue being targeted, what was done and what was found as well as the outcomes from the project and any future steps to be undertaken.
