Product information: Washed Rind Pty Ltd is recalling Bûche Belle du Bocage 1kg. The product has been available for sale in independent retailers in NSW, VIC, SA, and WA. The product was also available for sale at Thirroul IGA in NSW and Ainslie IGA in the ACT.
Date markings: 15/07/2025, 14/08/2025 and 15/08/2025
Problem: The recall is due to potential microbial (Listeria monocytogenes) contamination.
Food safety hazard: Listeria monocytogenes may cause severe illness in pregnant women, unborn babies, neonates, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. The general population can also become ill from consuming food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
What to do: Consumers should not eat the product. Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
