Handmade Ramen

The defendant was convicted for the offence under section 21(1) of the Food Act 2003, failure to comply with the Food Standards Code, namely:

1. Food Safety Standard 3.2.2 Clause 19(1). Failure to maintain the food premises to a standard of cleanliness where there is no accumulation of food waste, dirt, grease or other visible matter.
2. Food Safety Standard 3.2.2 Clause 19(2). Failure to maintain fixtures, fittings and equipment to the required standard of cleanliness.
3. Food Safety Standard 3.2.2 Clause 6(l). Failure to store food in such a way that it is protected from the likelihood of contamination.
4. Food Safety Standard 3.2.2 Clause 24(l). Failure to take all practical measures to prevent pests entering the premises and failure to take all practical measures to prevent the harbourage of pests on the premises.
